まず、このソフトはシングルバイトのみでマルチバイトには対応
していません。つまり、日本語の検索は出来ません。

ソースからのインストール方法

# tar xvzf htdig-3.1.3.tar.gz
# ./configure --exec-prefix=/usr
# make depend
# make
# make install

設定ファイル：htdig.conf

エラー一例
ht://Dig error
htsearch detected an error. Please report this to the webmaster of this site. The error message is:

Unable to read word database file
Did you run htmerge?
